Morning Sickness= 1; Morrisa= 0

Yup, I had my first puke this morning. I haven't been feeling great in the mornings for a little over a week but nothing like this! As soon as I got our of bed I started to gag and I knew it was time. I feel awful! I didn't take a shower this morning because I am dizzy and just feeling terrible. I will have to start taking showers at night. I feel like I have been run over by a truck! I ate some toast for breakfast and that is about it so far. I hope this means my little Doozer is growing strong. Let's see if I can make it through work without puking.

keep something (crackers - snack) by your bed and before you get out of bed, eat one.... It helpped some mornings - see if that helps you

I'm sorry about the morning sickness, but it probably does mean doozer is just making their presence known. That said, I do hope that the morning sickness subsides soon though! I'm sure you'll get an earful about what works or not...but I did end up on zofran which really helped. But crackers did some good too. Hugs!

I am so sorry you are feeling so bad. I agree with Sara! It is Doozer letting his momma know he's doing his thing!! :)

I second Fertilized suggetion. I kept a little container of broken up saltines next to me bed and had a few at every bathroom break during the night. Definitely helped to always keep food in my stomach.

Doozer's getting stronger...and showing you that you're not in charge anymore ;)

It is sad that we are happy to be puking isn't it. My suggestion is to get a towel for emergencies. I hope you are better soon.

Try SEA BANDS. (They're wrist bands meant to control nausea - google search them if you're not sure what I mean). I only had morning sickness for a couple of weeks... but these did the trick!

It does mean that doozer is growing strong but I'm sure that's not overly comforting when you feel so bad. I hope the other girls' suggestions help.

Oh morning sickness SUCKS SO BAD but I kept telling myself that it was a good sign that things are growing and that HCG is doubling along! The only thing that even came close to taking the edge off, for me, was preggie pop drops. The ginger is supposed to be a natural way of soothing the morning sickness. I ended up getting a prescription for nausea b/c it was so bad. I really hope you get to feeling better soon but can't help being so excited for you! Morning sickness SUCKS but it means that you are PREGNANT! YAY!!!!!

Feeling sick always made me feel better emotionally. It does really suck, though!

Visiting from NaComLeavMo. I've read that morning sickness is a sign of a strong pregnancy. Not that this is much consolation when you're too ill to take a shower, but FWIW. :o) Hope you're feeling better soon!

Here from NaComLeavMo. I hope that Doozer is growing stronger and healthier every day, and that you also start to feel better soon! I've heard good things about Sea Bands...I saw that someone else recommended them also.

Sorry for the AM sickness, but I cant help but be glad for it too--good sign! Saltine crackers always help my tummy in times of puke-ness.
Congrats again to you all!

Crackers help a few mornings. Mint? Otherwise, isn't it crazy to hate and love that nauseous feeling in the morning? It's a good thing! A really good thing! I'll keep you in my thoughts.

I am here from NCLM -- I am so happy to see that you have a successful BFP after treatment...gives me hope when I see someone that has been TTC for years and finally gets the elusive BFP. We are going on our 5th year, no BFP yet!!

Here via NCLM,

Sorry about the pukiness. I remember the worst part was not being able to brush my teeth afterwards without retching
