Beta #2 Results
Well my beta has risen to 883. I told the nurse I thought it was supposed to double and she said they are looking for a rise of 66% and that it was a nice rise and not to worry. Hah! Now I am worrying. Why does everyone elses double then? I calculated the percentage and it is 69%. I'm trying to remain hopeful that everything is okay but I have to admit I am disappointed and worried. I guess it is good that it rose over what they wanted to see but I'm still stuck on people always saying their betas have to double. Oh well, guess I am in for a stressed filled next couple of days until my repeat beta on Friday. Has anyone had a beta not double but on rise 60-some percent?

hmmm....I think I read somewhere that once they get close to some number (maybe 1000) the doubling rate slows...but that's pure assvice so do whatever you want with it.

That is a nice rise. I know it's hard, but try to enjoy the early part of being pregnant. The 3rd beta will tell you more. As always, I'm praying.
Been checking all afternoon for the update!!!! Try not to stress...it is a good rise and like the previous comment, just try to enjoy...as you know worrying and especially stressing will not help anything!!! Praying peace for you and can't wait for more updates. Hang in there and think positive!!!! :)

Hi Morrisa, congrats as it doubles...well i also got BFP( thankyou GOD) my beta is 323 and i am going for my 2nd beta on 16 (friday)...
I am still have cramps so i am little worried ...i also go to shady grove....

I didn't but my best friend's didn't double, it rose about 50% - ish and it turned into a beautiful little girl. Thinking of you!
Stay positive! That is an excellent rise - they were looking for 66% and you beat it! I am keeping everything crossed for you, I know in my heart that this is it for you!
Hey Morrisa - I think your beta is an excellent rise. Do not panic thouse are good rates. I have also read that once it reaches a certain mark it does not double perfectly. It rose and it rose above what your clinic is looking for - Hold onto that knowledge and relish in the goodness of the 2 lines thus far!
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you! I have no knowledge or wisdom to impart about beta doubling rates and all that stuff, but I'm still being optimistic for you!!! :)
So i know nothing about betas, but, here is what i think - that it was so darn high last time that the lots of women experience doubling, but that is because theirs is lower to being with.... ??
